Unique Stocking Stuffer Ideas
If you’re looking for cheap Christmas stocking stuffers for the special woman in your life (who may or may not be concerned with her hairline or hair volume, and who may or may not be yours truly), here’s a list of my best recommendations, curated especially for you, dear reader.
Sidenote: it may seem like an odd Christmas stocking stuffer idea to give fancy shampoo or serums or treatments as gifts. BUT, the reality is we LOOOOVE beauty treatments but HAAAATE spending the big bucks on them.
Getting any of these things from Santa is the dream of many a lady with a bald spot or thinned hairline.
Trust me, she wants this stuff way more than some stuffed animal or gadget.
Without further ado…
1) OGX Fight Fallout Shampoo Duo.
You can read my full review of these babies here. But the cliffnotes version is: this shampoo/conditioner is a) SUPER affordable for a hair loss product. b) EXTREMELY well-reviewed and c) Great for volume, softness, and overall scalp health. I couldn’t be more surprised at the bang this pulls in for the buck.
2) Ultrax Plush Hair Serum.
This little bottle goes a long way in bringing thin, damaged hair back to life and bounce. And she will appreciate that you bought it and she didn’t have to. Especially recommended by and for African American hair. Read my full review here.
Yeah, when we’re losing our hair, we women can’t blow dry all the time. But we can use a quality ionic dryer with a diffuser when needed. Sometimes. For special occasions. And it’s good to have one around! Read my detailed review here.
4) A low level laser therapy hair loss helmet.
Yup. This is where you go all out and splurge on top of the line technology for your sweetie. Go for the one she can program to target her problem zones and wear wirelessly around the house for the few minutes of treatment needed per session. Read my full review of this miracle hat here.
5) Rosemary essential oil.
Hey, if she doesn’t rub it into her scalp each night like a good hair loss recovery patient, she can burn it in a diffuser so her whole home smells amazing (not just her head!). Read more about why this is something everyone should be doing here.
6) Grow Gorgeous Hair Serum Intense.
This is one of the classiest packaged, best smelling hair loss products out there. Even for those not actively losing hair, it makes existing hair look like a million bucks – thick, full, healthy. Learn more about this puppy in my full review here.
7) Her very own Bone Brother starter kit!
Get your girl 1) a big ass crockpot, 2) a thermos, and 3) a recipe book, and she’ll be horking down the amount of collagen god intended in no time. If you think this sounds insane, read my article all about Bone Broth and Hydrolyzed Collagen here, first!
8) Nicer vitamins than she would buy for herself at the grocery store.
9) Rockin’ hair loss hair style stuff.
That’s right: hairbands, hairbands, hairbands. Get your girl a bunch of hairbands and other hairstyle accoutrement, because they mask problem areas and help to create a new hairline visually, by re-framing her face. Also get her some soft, no metal parts scrunchies because those other ones are ripping out her fragile hair and making a whole heck of a mess.
10) A massage.
Yeah, that’s right. A scalp massage. Every night. With nourishing coconut oil and *cough cough* Rosemary oil to keep her scalp circulation bumping and grinding, and her hair growing and shedding appropriately. Yes, I’m gonna keep pushing this Rosemary oil thing 🙂
Okie dokie, that’s it. If you’re in a shopping rut, lock down any or all of these perfect stocking stuffers, and you’re golden.
I expect a full report about what Santa brought you, along with any questions, comments, ideas, thoughts, or random musings about the holiday season.
Yours in all things hair,
