In their own words, this is what Ultrax Labs Hair Rush has to offer men and women suffering from hair loss and shopping for a solution. Like their other products, this one is explicitly unisex, which I appreciate!
Ultrax Labs Hair Rush consists of over 20 essential vitamins, minerals and herbs to give your hair a boost from the inside out. Hair Rush is based on solubilized Keratin, which alone has been shown to accelerate hair growth, increase hair thickness and help decrease hair loss.
Most hair loss supplements just take a biotin supplement and add one or two ingredients. Hair Rush has been meticulously formulated to work as a complete inside out nourishment to support proper follicular function. Hair Maxx is safe and effective for both men and women. For best results, take for a minimum of 90 days.

What’s in it?
Nettle Leaf Powder – Extracts of nettle root have been shown to partially bock DHT. Stinging nettles also reduce inflammation in the scalp, and neutralize free radical damage.
Pumpkin Seed Powder – Has been shown to help in promoting a healthier and faster hair growth. The oil from pumpkin seeds are believed to effect hormone and androgen levels in the body. Lack of androgens in the body is believed to be a primary cause of hair loss.
Saw Palmetto -Ah, our old friend Saw Palmetto. Clinical trials have shown that Saw Palmetto may block an enzyme, 5-alpha-reductase, which facilitates the change of testosterone into the hormonal byproduct DHT. DHT is considered a major cause for both mail and female pattern baldness.
Silica – Almost all of the trace minerals that silica helps to balance are factors in treating hair loss. Calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D are all nutrients that need to be in ideal balance f you want to have the thickest and healthiest hair possible. Silica helps deliver the vital nutrients that we ingest (and create naturally) everywhere in our bodies, including to the hair follicles.
Kelp – Sea kelp is rich in iodine, potassium, and iron. The iodine in sea kelp is not just great for regulating the thyroid, it is also great for treating dandruff. The minerals in sea kelp along with iodine promote a healthy scalp and strong hair.
Biotin, Zinc, Vitamin B6 and Magnesium -Some of the other included follicle boosting ingredients known for improving hair health and cellular metabolism.

What do people say about it?
At the time of this blog post, Ultrax Labs Hair Rush has an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon.com, from over 3,200 user reviews. That’s A LOT of positive feedback.
Many women who’ve had success with the Hair Rush supplement say that they saw improvements as soon as one month into treatment. Others say they noticed less fallout in the shower and also when brushing.
Some commented on the improved appearance and strength of their hair after using this product for at least a month. Many women noticed an improvement in the strength of their fingernails, and less brittleness and breakage.
There are tons of raving user reviews from women with African hair, and it’s worth noting since I have many readers who ask “will this work for my texture of hair?” The answer for this product appears to be a resounding YES!
Finally, many women appreciated that this product is made in the US, and not overseas. The dosage – two small pills – is much less than many other hair loss supplements, which do tend to be larger pills and a 3-5 pill a day dosage, yikes!
There were some pretty darn scorching negative reviews. The neutral ones were more to the tune of “did nothing”. The super negative ones said that the bottle arrived damaged or open, that there were fewer pills in the bottle than 60, and some people even reported.
Of course, many complained about the cost, $60ish for a month’s supply.. While this is a mid-range cost hair growth supplement, there are certainly less expensive ones out there – for budget-friendly, I always recommend Hairfluence, which also has a huge following and is like $20 a bottle. On a related note, I take Nutrafol and it’s $88/month…which is steep but I’ve had amazing results. You can read more about that and see my progress pics here.
I saw two negative reviews (out of the 3200 total) that complained about gas and digestive issues starting after they took this supplement. The overwhelming tone of the negative reviews was to accuse all of the positive reviews of being “fake”, because they didn’t experience the same results as other users.
Overall: another winner from Ultrax Labs
Regular readers of this blog know that I’m biased favorably toward Ultrax products due to my experience using the fabulous Ultrax Hair Surge shampoo (read more about that here).
I’ve reviewed other winners in their product line, including their conditioner, Solaye, their hair mask, Hair Vigor, and their hair serum, Ultrax Plush. It’s high time I reviewed this supplement, and I’m glad I learned more about it. It seems like another great product from Ultrax Labs!
To address the most concerning issue, which is the accusation from the negative reviews that all the positive reviews must be fake: I shop on all of the time. Because user reviews have to be verified from people who’ve actually purchased products, I tend to be disinclined to view glowing reviews as “fake”.
When stuff doesn’t work, the internet will tell you! There are pu-LENTY of products with thousands of reviews online that have an abundance of negative feedback, enough to bring the star rating down considerably.
Any experiences with Ultrax Labs hair Rush supplement? Any questions thoughts or ideas? Please do leave your comments, and as always, I look forward to everyone’s feedback.
